Redesigning Sherwood’s Forest Website
What is the site’s mission?
“Sherwood’s Forest is a full service landscape contractor, nursery, and retail garden center.” The website shows their inventory of plants, general information about hours and contact info, show pictures of the nursery and landscape installations.
What audience(s) does it serve? What is the site doing well already in terms of communication?
It serves an older audience and those who are interested in gardening. It actually separates the sections pretty well, and I can tell that they attempted to implement the nature image with small leaf icons.
Similar/Competetive Sites
(Warning: these are all pretty bad)
Wasco Nursery
It does a better job with separating the tabs (because Sherwood’s different tabs don’t have any background color, two different ones start to read as one tab).
Sappington Garden Shop
This website does a better job with using space, and making it respond to the browser size.

Awwwards Conference - just cool design
