I see my item on a list, what do I do next?

Click the post for a larger image or more details, and then click the "claim" button. This will open an email to the address they left.

How do I meet someone I am exchanging items with?

It is up to both parties to decide where/when they meet to exchange items. For added security, our office has a meeting "SafeZone" with 24 hour camera surveillance and routine police patrols if you wish to take precautions (see our About page for our location).

What happens if no one claims the item I found?

You may drop it off at our physical lost and found location (see our About page). Items at our physical location will be disposed of or donated if unclaimed within 90 days. Otherwise, feel free to keep or donate the item.

I found something valuable, should I post an image?

For items with high monetary value, we suggest bringing them directly to our physical office (see About page). If not, we suggest you take extra precautions when speaking to those who claim the item as their own. For example, make sure someone can tell you something about the item that no one else can (such as a phone's lockscreen or a laptop's username).

How long are posts kept up?

Posts are kept in the archive for up to 1 year.
